Benjamin Gene, CEO

Benjamin Gene, co-founder of Keyes Property Management, began this joint venture with Mark Nestor in 2014. KPM was started in conjunction with The Keyes Company. This was not the first partnership for Benjamin and Mark, they have been running Benmar Property Solutions together since 2008. BPS is a property management firm focused primarily on managing single family homes for seasonal residents in Palm Beach County Florida. Benmar has grown from one family friends home into a multi level company managing over 350 properties throughout the county. Seeing the potential for growth into the residential rental management market, Benjamin and Mark partnered with The Keyes Company, one of Florida's oldest and most respected real estate firms in the country.

Benjamin grew up in West Bloomfield, MI and relocated to south Florida in 2008 to start his real estate career.

Today, Benjamin serves as CEO of KPM. He is responsible for day-to-day operations, sales, customer relations and long term growth strategies. Benjamin holds a bachelor's degree from Columbia University. Benjamin is married to Jennifer Gene, a Keyes Realtor in Boca Raton, and they have two children, Sophia and Caleb.

Mark Nestor, President

Mark Nestor, co-founded Keyes Property Management with Benjamin Gene in 2014 in partnership with The Keyes Company. Mark was also the co-founder of Benmar Property Solutions and has been instrumental in keeping that line of business growing. Mark serves as the President of Keyes Property Management. Mark specializes in operations and accounting and contributes to strategic growth planning.

Mark also hails from West Bloomfield Michigan and holds a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University. Mark is married to Dr. Elizabeth Nestor and they have a son, Max.

David Porto, Property Manager

David Porto is a veteran property manager who comes to KPM with extensive experience in both property management and business practices. For 20 years, David oversaw development and management of 6 Subway locations as an owner/operator. After selling his stake in his Subway franchises, David worked for the McDonalds corporation, managing numerous South Florida locations.

With his extensive knowledge in customer service, business management and property management, KPM is excited to have David on our team.

Mark Pinilla, Property Manager

Mark prides himself on being able to bring a peace of mind to his clients that is akin to the comfort of having a wise older brother. Mark utilizes his real estate license to compliment the property management team and more fully assist clients. Mark has a lovely wife of nineteen years and two daughters he can proudly boast are both on the honor roll. He teaches Sunday School to young children, participates in American Cancer Society walks, and he is certified with CERT, the Community Emergency Response Team of the Red Cross.

Mark is fluent in both English and Spanish.
